Follow established histology procedures & policies
Responsible for accessioning specimens and assisting Pathologists during gross examination
Prepare microscopic slides of formalin fixed and frozen tissue for diagnostic evaluation and perform routine and special stains
Under the supervision of the pathology supervisor, perform all technical histology laboratorys functions which are included but not limited to:
o Accessioning
o Tissue processing
o Embedding
o Microtomy
o Routine H&E Staining
o Special Stains
o Immunohistochemical Stains
o Cytology Technical Functions

Job Requirements
Associates degree in Histology from an accredited institution
American Society of Clinical Pathology certification ASCP (HT)
1 year of minimum experience

Salary: $44,000 to $71,000
